- A little confusing, the marriage registered is between Henry and Betsy but in the 1871 Census Betsy is listed as Charlotte. There is also the fact that Arthur is registered before the wedding as a Pulford, which is not normal.
Newspaper announvcement 7 Jan 1868 Bury and Norwich Post Mr. Pulford boot - maker to Betsy Shepperd, both of Haughley.
