274 An Interesting story here. For the most part in the census the family was called Pulford. However, the marriage of Robert and Charllotte show him as Girling both in the PR and BMD. Their later Children all had Gilrling as their middle name and were registered as Girling

In all cival interactions Robert was Girling but he seemed toi want to call himself Puford. This frequently happens when a person is born out of wedlock of mother name of Girling but she knows the pather is Pulford.
