...that the following remark was entered in the birth register of the former Royal City Court of Berlin, indeed in that of the Jews fol. II sheet 213 v:
No. 93 According to the hearing of 7th March 1859 (fol. 19 sheet 9? of the files, concerning the certification of the births of the Jews) Rosalie née Fabian, wife of the master shoe-maker Hirsch Levin who belongs to the religious community of the Jews, was delivered of a female child which received the name Marie on the sixth of March eighteen hundred and fifty-nine at 5 o’clock a.m.
Entered today the seventh of March eighteen hundred and fifty-nine.

Addendum to No. 93, folie 213 v Volume II of this Register
According to the hearing of 10th April 1879 (Volume 73 pages 307 and 308 of the files concerning the certification of births amongst the Jews) it is noted by way of correction, that the correct spelling of the surname of the father of the children born on 11th January 1857, 6th March 1859 and 11th September 1868 named Moritz, Marie and Fransiska respectively is not Levin, but Lewin.
Entered Berlin on twelfth April eighteen hundred and seventy-nine.
